the property in 2001 and have made extensive
renovations including addition of a lake with
two islands, an ornamental fishpond and hundreds
of trees and beautiful roses.
- Susan was born in Hay and came to
Mudgee with her family in 1961. She
has spent the last 32 years as a top-ranked
radio talk show host primarily in Philadelphia,
America’s fourth largest city,
and in Washington DC. It was time she
came home to Mudgee, and running Ardrossan
B&B is pure pleasure.
- Ed is a journalist. He worked in
America for newspapers and for United
Press International wire service before
establishing his own marketing and
public relations company.

Bookings require a 50% deposit which is
transferable. However special conditions for
public holidays and major events.
Locality
Mudgee is a pleasant 3.5 hour drive from Sydney
with beautiful scenery. Ardrossan B&B is
perfect for four couples who want to take a
break in the country but want the convenience
of being able to take a taxi to restaurants
so they can taste the wonderful Mudgee wine
without worrying about driving.
We are perfectly situated 1 km from Mudgee and
close to all the most popular wineries. The
historic towns of Gulgong and Hill End are worth
a visit. You might try your luck panning for
gold, play golf, visit the art galleries, potteries,
antique stores and museums.
A putt putt golf course is within walking distance
at Honey Haven, where you can taste and buy
the lovely local honey, lavender products,
olive products and taste delicious mead made
from honey at the cellar door.
There is lots to do in the Mudgee area or you
may choose to relax by the pool and read the
latest novel or sit and watch the antics of
the water birds as they splash around in the
lake.
